Dr. Jason J. Bae was raised in Honolulu, where he attended Punahou School, class of 1999. He attended U.C.L.A. for his undergraduate studies and was exposed to dentistry by working part-time in an orthodontist’s office in Westwood. To continue his education, Dr. Bae decided to move farther east to attend Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He moved downtown to complete his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at NYU College of Dentistry. During this time, he received his medical degree at NYU Medical Center and completed an internship in general surgery.
Dr. Bae attended to patients at multiple hospitals, including Bellevue Hospital, Manhattan VA Medical Center, NYU Medical Center, Hospital for Joint Diseases, and Lenox Hill Hospital, and served as a faculty member at the NYU College of Dentistry. He is proficient in all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom teeth removal, intravenous sedation, dental implant placement, hard and soft tissue grafting, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, temporomandibular joint disorders, and oral pathology.
Dr. Bae enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Dr. Bae is excited to be a part of VA Smiles and looks forward to continuing to provide our high level of service.
