Dr. Prabhdeep Grewal grew up in Northern California and attended the University of California San Diego with a major in biology, during which time he was granted early admission to dental school. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he was also the recipient of a United States Army Health Professionals Scholarship Program.
After graduation, Dr. Grewal served with the US Army in Germany for two years. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to the multiple medicine and anesthesia rotations the program entailed, he had an opportunity to serve as the chief resident at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, the busiest trauma center in the nation. His training was full scope, encompassing cosmetic surgery, pathology and reconstruction, dentoalveolar, trauma, and TMJ surgeries, among others.
Dr. Grewal has deployed to Bagram, Afghanistan where he was able to perform numerous facial trauma surgeries in collaboration with his plastic surgery and ENT colleagues. He is currently the chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Fort Meade, Maryland.
Dr. Grewal is enjoying all the DMV area has to offer, with his wife Lovleen and their two sons.
